Truth Lock
Lock in, guess, then reveal
Truth Lock is the main way to play Twotell. Two adults each answer five questions about themselves, guess how the other one answered, and find out how well they really know each other.
What happens in a round
You choose a pack, then see five questions. Each has four options. First you lock in your own answer, then you guess your partner's. Your choices are saved as letters, and nothing is visible to the other person yet.
When you are done you get a link to send. Your partner answers the same five questions on their own device. As soon as you have both finished, the results appear for both of you at the same time.
What the reveal shows
Matches are good places to smile. Wrong guesses are better places to ask why.
- Both sets of answers, question by question
- Which questions you answered the same way
- Which of your guesses were right
- Your shared Sync Score and each person's own Mind-Read Score
Who it is for
Truth Lock is built for couples at any stage: new dates, long relationships and everything in between. Any two adults who know each other and have agreed to play can use it.
Both players must be 18 or older. Only play with people who want to play.
Pick the heat
Each game draws five questions from the pack you pick, so a second round from the same pack feels different.
- Early Days: mild, for the basics
- Been Together Forever: medium, for couples who think they have heard it all
- Red Flag Audit: hot and playful, about quirks and habits
- After Dark: extra hot, flirty and never explicit, for adults only
Ways to make it more fun
- Agree a tiny stake first. A common house rule is that the loser picks the next pack.
- Play when you are both in a good mood, and read the reveal out loud together.
- Try a hotter pack when the first one feels too easy.
Free. 18+ only. Takes about a minute.
Quick answers
Can we play from different places?
Yes. The game works through a link, so each of you plays on your own device wherever you are.
What if we get very different scores?
That is normal. The Mind-Read Score belongs to each player, so one of you can read the other better. It is a game, not a test of your relationship.
Does my partner need Pro?
No. If you have Pro, your partner can play Pro packs in the games you start.
